Your time is your inventory and you need to know where you stand against your estimates. With Harvest's Estimates Report, you can easily see how projects are doing against their estimates. If a project is in danger of going over-budget, you can be right on top of it.

Set your estimates for each project as a lump sum or break it down and estimate by individual tasks.

Harvest offers multiple ways to input time: you and your employees can choose to record time via a straight-forward weekly timesheet or in more detail with the daily timesheet. And if you prefer to track your time in real-time, the Harvest widget (for Mac and PC) will do the trick. Harvest is flexible so you can choose the method that works best for you.

Adding an employee or contractor takes, literally, seconds. Simply add your new teammates via a short form, and they will be able to log into your Harvest account - and because Harvest is web-based, there is absolutely nothing to install.

There are 3 types of users you can create - administrator, who will have all the admin access to your Harvest account; project manager, who have access to reports for the project that they are assigned to; and normal employee/contractor who can enter time for projects that they are assigned to, and see reports of their own activity.
